The album design workflow can take many hours away from your work week -- we save you time so that you can work on your business instead of being in front of the computer.

Nestled among an eclectic mix of restaurants and boutique shops, the Modern Album Designs office is located on a quaint street in the historic downtown of Sunnyvale, California (40 miles south of San Francisco). The bustling café diners below our office are often patroned by "Silicon Valley" entrepeneurs from the likes of Google and Yahoo. While their conversations usually center around high-tech acroynms, we at the office envelope ourselves in the world of weddings, portraits, and Photoshop.

Our designers are all based locally in Northern California. With diverse backgrounds ranging from graphic design, to photography and advertising – the office is never short on creative energy…or noise. We are a young group – mostly in the mid-twenties to early-thirties. On a typical day, the music coming from the office stereo ranges from Madonna to Metallica. Our drink of choice is boba tea and Starbucks green tea lemonade. As diverse as we are, we share a common love for working in a vibrant and creative environment.

For many photographers, there comes a point in their careers when simply doing everything themselves becomes unprofitable. Album design is one such activity that can occupy an enormous amount of time and effort. It's not just the initial design. Add together the total time to work on revisions and sending layout previews to your clients and soon, you'll realize that designing albums can be cost and time prohibitive.

Our design fees start in the low $200's – this fee can be completely recoverable if you up-sell a few album pages to your clients.
